Get ready for a fun day of discovery on this Batemans Bay tour. The tour starts early, and you’ll be picked up from your accommodation in Canberra at 7am. Your group will drive past picture-perfect farms till you stop for a relaxing break at the quaint little historic town of Braidwood. You’ll then continue through woodlands and down Clyde Mountain, admiring the scenery and diverse flora and fauna as you go. After a journey of a couple of hours, you will meet up with your kayaking instructors. They’ll help you navigate the clear waters of Batemans Bay and as you paddle along taking in the sights from the water, learn more about the local indigenous history and unique wildlife. Around noon, you will be taken to the town centre where you’ll have time to explore the local cafés and shops at leisure. Your guide will point out all the hidden gems. Later, you’ll be ready to take a relaxing drive through coastal bushland to see the kangaroos at Pebbly Beach, before returning to Canberra.This experience is part of our Low-Footprint Adventures range because it is ECO certified by Ecotourism Australia.
