    Experience the excitement of flying and the amazing view from the top for yourself on a hot air balloon flight over the Barossa Valley. You'll reach exhilarating heights as you fly over South Australia's renowned countryside and famed wine region at sunrise.

    Your hot air ballooning adventure begins with a briefing by the pilot before you head to the launch site in the very early hours of the morning. If you're up for it, you can help the crew prepare the hot air balloon for take off and enjoy some hands-on experience. Thirty minutes later you'll be drifting on the wind high above the country side, watching the sun creep over Barossa Valley.

    After an unforgettable flight, you'll touch back down and receive a flight certificate as a memento of your adventure. Then toast to your Barossa Valley hot air balloon ride as you're treated to a delicious cooked “Barossa” breakfast with sparkling wine.

  • Experience Details

    Fitness and Experience

    • You should be able to stand for an hour, bend your knees a little and hold on with both hands to the rope handles inside the basket
    • Not suitable for those that are pregnant
    • Minimum age is 10 years old

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Comfortable clothing for the day – layers are recommended
    • The temperature in the air when we are flying is the same as on the ground so dress for the season and the overnight temperature
    • Sturdy flat soled walking shoes
    • A hat as the burner gives off considerable heat

    What is Supplied

    • Hot air balloon ride over the Barossa Valley (approximately one hour)
    • Experienced pilot and ground crew
    • Delicious cooked “Barossa” breakfast with sparkling wine
    • This adventure requires a minimum of four passengers and can take a maximum of 16 passengers

    • Flights are available seven days a week all year round, weather permitting
    • There will be other people in the balloon with you

    • Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
    • Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
