    Bring your animal encounter dreams to life at Sea World on the Gold Coast with this opportunity to get up close with rescued seals. You'll be able to meet some of Sea World's different seal breeds in this exciting behind-the-scenes experience.

    Watch the seals splash around in the Seal Theatre and learn all about their behaviour and different personalities first-hand from the trainer. Your encounter could be with either long-nosed fur seals, Australian sea lions or Californian sea lions, and you'll have the chance to have your photo taken beside these cheeky creatures. It's an up-close animal encounter you'll never forget.

  • Experience Details

    Fitness and Experience

    • Participants must purchase a Sea World entry ticket or hold a valid pass for entry to Sea World 
    • Participants must be aged 5 years and over and be a minimum height of 110cm. Participants will be measured on the day of the program without footwear
    • Participants must be able to speak and/or understand English, or have a translator participate in the program with them. There are no complimentary programs for translators
    • Persons acting as a translator must advise staff at the start of the program. Translators must satisfy all criteria
    • Participants must wear footwear
    • Participants must have controlled motor movement
    • Participants must follow directions quickly to the satisfaction of staff
    • Participants must be able to quickly exit the pool area unassisted
    • Please inform staff of any medical conditions during check-in
    • Participants must not have any form of disability which prevents them from satisfying the criteria for participation

    What to Bring/Wear

    • You must wear footwear 
    • Do not wear any visible jewellery of any type

    • Operating hours are 10am - 5pm
    • Attractions operational from 10am
    • Open from 1.30pm to 5pm on ANZAC Day (25 April). Closed Christmas Day (25 December)
    • Rides and attractions are subject to change to enable maintenance and some rides and attractions will not operate during inclement weather conditions.
    • Please note queue lines may close earlier to allow attractions to finish in line with park closing times.
