    This Barossa Valley helicopter tour promises a day filled with great food, entertainment, and unforgettable aerial views. Embark on a remarkable outback adventure starting with a scenic helicopter flight from Hoffnungsthal Valley. Taking off from the Barossa Helicopters helipad, soar north over Rowland Flat, home to Jacob’s Creek winery, and its iconic wine tanks. Marvel at the panoramic views over the valley floor as you head northwest, passing by Tanunda and Nuriootpa, on your way to Allendale. Touch down next to the historic Wheatsheaf Hotel, owned and operated by Mark and Chelsea, offering a warm welcome with a complimentary drink and a delicious lunch.

    While at the Wheatsheaf, you might even have the chance to meet Tom Willoughby, the legendary local horseman known for his tall tales and his movie star horses. These equine celebrities, who have shared the screen with the likes of Simon Baker and Sam Neil are not camera-shy and enjoy a good scratch. They'll even patiently wait while Tom shares a drink with you. After lunch, enjoy a return flight over the historic town of Kapunda, home to the famously haunted North Kapunda Hotel, before a scenic route back to Hoffnungsthal Valley, passing by Greenock.

    Fitness and Experience

    • There is no age limit, however weight restrictions apply
    • All passengers must consent to be weighed on the day of travel and any guests exceeding 130kg will be unable to fly due to aircraft safety regulations
    • Any person weighing more than 110 kg may incur an additional cost
    • Each flight has a maximum total weight limit including fuel, passengers etc
    • If the weight limit is exceeded, the cost of an additional seat may apply or flight may be declined
    • Please call us prior to booking if you have any queries regarding weight restrictions

    • This experience operates seven days a week, all year round except Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Years Day
    • Please note that during September - April it is particularly busy, so we recommend that you book well in advance
    • Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances
    • Please bring your payment receipt or voucher details and photo identification
    • To ensure passenger safety and comfort, flights do not go ahead in rain, low clouds or heat over 35 degrees.
    • The pilot in command will make the final decision as to whether the flight will go ahead

    • Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
    • Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
    • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
