I had the awesome opportunity to experience the jet boat tour around Phillip Island with Adrenaline! It's something that's been on my bucket list for a while, just from seeing it in catalogues and online from places like New Zealand and South Africa. Just watching a boat go at 150kmh over water and jump 1.5m in the air just resonates with me... (says a lot).

We were all guns a blazing

In saying this I had no idea what i was in for at all. The crew gave us a brief of what we were in for and then we were all guns a blazing. We started off getting shots of the “Drift Boat” a slightly less fast more agile boat that was able to do 360 rotations and move in a way that you'd never see a boat do before. The best way to describe the experience was quite literally “drifting with the waves.”

Bright blue water was just next level

The caves for me were the definite highlight though! I had been told about the caves and how incredible they were, but it didn't quite hit me till they were right in front of my face. Crazy huge openings and natural formations in the side of the cliff and the bright blue water that went along with it was just next level. We got to drive into the caves and some of us got to even dive in and experience it from below.

Can't stress enough how amazing it was

After that experience it was hard to top... but there was more! Risky (the awesome captain) went to go get the big guns, his beloved ThunderCat. Let me tell you, this thing was just insane! The boat is so fast, lifting up your hands was a task in itself and you have butterflies in your stomach the entire time. It's definitely something you need to do and I can't stress enough how amazing it was.

So worth it!

This whole experience is so worth it and it's absolutely something I'd recommend to adrenaline junkies like myself, or even someone who just wants to go out there and experience something fun. The entire crew were so welcoming, making us feel incredibly comfortable. They were just awesome people. This is something that everyone should do!
