New to adventure? You've come to the right place. Our Crew have tried these adventures and are sharing their best tips so you can get straight into it.
Learn to surf
If hitting the waves sounds good, start with a learn to surf lesson. Easing you into it, you'll pick up the basics on the sand before giving it a go in the water. A bunch of our Crew did a lesson and said the biggest thing you need to do is trust the instructor – they know their stuff and will help build your confidence on the water.
Wakeboarding
If you’re keen to try a water sport, lock in wakeboarding lessons. The instructors are super helpful, giving you as many goes as you need to get up. Toni from our Crew has tried it before and said don't be scared to fall because it's part of the fun. It also means you get to go for a swim, since you have to paddle back from wherever you let go (no complaints here).
Aerobatics
Ready for a ride of flips, rolls, loops and more? Yeah, you are. You’re not the one flying, so all you need to do is sit tight and enjoy the ride. Ken from our Crew gave this one a go and said it can get pretty warm up there, so wear light layers and bring sunnies (especially if it’s sunny).
Canyoning
If you’re looking for a cool adventure, don’t go past canyoning. Giving you a bit of everything, you’ll hike, abseil, swim and climb rocks. Liv from our Crew recently went and said it’s an awesome day, but it is long, so definitely eat brekkie and pack plenty of water and snacks. Also, dry clothes are a must because you’ll be swimming.
Skydiving
Oh, so you want extreme? Then skydiving is the obvious answer. No experience needed, the thrill you get from jumping out of a plane is f*cking awesome. Max from our Crew went on this one and said just try to relax and not overthink it. It’s a safe and controlled environment to push your boundaries, so why not?
