    Get your heart racing as you get up close and personal with the marine life of Bunbury's Koombana Bay on this swimming with dolphins tour. For three hours you'll cruise around the bay and jump right in with the wild dolphins so you can snorkel around with them. 

    Just south of Perth, you'll head out from Bunbury and soak up the beauty of Koombana Bay as you cruise around. You'll be all geared up with a snorkel, and optional fins and wetsuit, ready to dive in with the local bottlenose dolphin pods. An experienced guide and trained volunteers will accompany you as you explore the stunning open waters of Koombana Bay, and enjoy the excitement of joining wild dolphins in their natural environment.

    This experience is part of our Low-Footprint Adventures range because the experience provider is a self-sustaining not for profit community organisation dedicated to the protection of marine animals and the conservation of their environment.

  • Experience Details

    Fitness and Experience

    • Minimum age is six years
    • Children aged 6-14 years need to be accompanied by an adult at all times
    • Advise the experience provider of any medical condition requirements
    • All swimmers must have the ability to tread water
    • Participants must sign off to a medical checklist

    What to Bring/Wear

    • Swimwear and a towel
    • Change of clothes
    • Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses
    • You can bring your own snorkelling gear or wetsuit if you would prefer

    • Three hour guided swimming with dolphins tour

    • Wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins
    • Buoyancy vest, if required

    More Information

    • Tours operate from November to April only
    • Please note, the dolphins of Koombana Bay are wild animals. In the event you do not get to see the dolphins, you can participate in another dolphin encounter cruise free of charge within 12 months of your booking
    • Please arrive 45 minutes prior to departure time. Late arrivals/no shows there is no refund

    Cancellation Policy

    • Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
    • Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
    • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
