What you can expect
Speed, exhilaration and exploration. Experience the rush of descending the summit of Mount Lofty on this mountain biking tour. You’ll be picked up from central Adelaide and driven to the top of the mountain so you can enjoy the views and the thrilling ride back down. The summit is the highest point in the Mount Lofty Ranges at an impressive 710 meters high, and you’ll have some time to take in the panoramic views over Adelaide before you ride. Once you’re set up with your bike and helmet, your group will take a short ride through Cleland Conservation Park to Cleland Wildlife Park. Stop here to explore and you can even feed or pat kangaroos, wallabies, emus and other native wildlife. After some morning tea, it’s time to hit the 4WD trail and begin your descent. The ride is an exciting but gentle meandering that makes for the perfect Adelaide mountain biking adventure. Finish up cruising through the back streets and parks of Adelaide to wrap up an exciting morning. Please note, this experience is not available during the winter season.

- A basic level of fitness is required, and Riders should be 'competent' cyclists, happy to ride for 2 hours or more on a mix of rough, off-road terrain, gravel trails and quiet back roads
