What you can expect
Take an exhilarating hot air balloon flight over the spectacular Barossa Valley, one of the premier ballooning destinations in Australia - complete with a glass of sparkling wine served and a delicious breakfast. Equally thrilling and relaxing, hot air ballooning is a unique flying experience you need to tick off your bucket list. After meeting in the early hours before the sun rises, you'll make your way to the launch site to prepare the balloon for flight. Choose to get involved and inflate the balloon or sit back and watch the action - it's up to you. You'll lift off at sunrise and drift with the air currents for around one hour over the iconic wine region. Feel the adrenaline rush of flying and looking over the edge of the basket at the view below. As the light filters over the landscape, you’ll have breathtaking aerial views over the world-famous Barossa Valley waking up. There’s no shortage of photo opportunities so make sure you bring your camera and smile as your pilot will be taking pictures throughout using an on-board camera. Upon landing you can choose if you want to help pack away the balloon, before enjoying a superb breakfast served with sparkling wine. A photo viewing completes the excitement of an unforgettable morning.

Time
- Tours depart daily approx 1.5 hours before sunrise (The time varies throughout the year)
Duration
- The flights are approximately 1 hour, followed by a champagne breakfast so allow 5 to 6 hours for the whole experience
Hotel Pickup
- If you have booked a hotel prior to completing your purchase, enter your hotel name in the 'Add Booking Notes' section of the shopping cart. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation tour voucher with complete tour operator details. You will be required to contact the tour operator a minimum of 48hrs prior to your day of travel to reconfirm your hotel pick up time
- If you have not yet booked a hotel, enter the words 'hotel not known' in the 'Add Booking Notes' section of the shopping cart. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation tour voucher with complete tour operator details. Additional Information
- The balloon can fly up to 16 persons but is subject to a total weight limit. Please enter your weight in booking note at the time of purchase
- Friends and family are welcome on the morning. They may follow our ground crew in their own vehicle and bring their own picnic breakfast. No pets please
- Please advise of any dietary requirements at time of booking
Terms And Conditions
- We cannot fly children under 10 years of age
- We are not allowed to fly pregnant passengers
- If the weather is not acceptable for safe flying or your enjoyment, the flight will be cancelled. A full refund or re-schedule is then offered
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
- For your information, complete Tour Operator Information including contact details is included on your tour voucher
- Flights operate daily except Christmas Day 25 December. At the completion of purchase, you will need to contact the tour operator to book in a flight time that suits you (Tour Operator details will be printed in your tour voucher)

Bucket list ticked off!
Grateful to tick off one of the things on my bucket list! Thanks to those that was a part of this gift for my 50th! Unfortunately the world shut down weeks after and I was unable to use it for at least 2 years! So I was lucky enough to get an extension, thanks to Barossa Balloon Adventures so myself and my husband shared an extraordinary experience, relishing the tranquility of flight for both our 50th birthdays! We enjoyed every moment and every experience from set up to pack down, the indescribable serenity up in the sky to a scrumptious breakfast! The crew's birthday tribute, including cake, was the perfect touch to an already unbelievable morning! I highly recommend.
