This skid pan driving lesson at Mount Cotton Driver Training in Cornubia, Queensland, includes 4 fun sessions and the guidance of experienced instructors. The site’s wet diesel track offers a safe, low-speed environment to learn how to slide and skid safely. You’ll be sharing the track with other drivers over the course of the 4-hours, giving you plenty of time to learn from the instructors, watch others on the track and, of course, get behind the wheel yourself. The skid pan is low on wear and tear, and suitable for rear wheel, all wheel and even front wheel drive vehicles.

bought this for a birthday gift for my brother who has never done this but is into cars. best experience, the instructor was extremely helpful.

The instructor was incredibly helpful with teaching me how to get the car sideways and keep it going. It is a fun day and definitely worth going

Info

Inclusions

  • 4 sessions of between 8-10 minutes
  • Guidance from experienced driving instructors
  • Either a 2002 Nissan S15 or 1991 Mazda MX5 to drive for the session

Seasons

  • The session will only be postponed if hail or severe storms are predicted

Operating Hours

  • Experience is available on selected dates throughout the month
  • Session runs for 4 hours and the track is shared between 14 drivers
  • Each person gets to drive 4 sessions of 8-10 minutes each

What To Bring

  • Closed in shoes
  • Comfortable clothing

Additional Information

  • This experience runs on Saturdays & Sundays only
  • Takes place at Mount Cotton Driver Training in Cornubia, Queensland.
  • A waiver needs to be signed by drivers and passenger
  • Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances
  • Change of participant is not permitted
  • Please be aware this is not a private session
  • The session will only be postponed if hail or severe storms are predicted.
  • Minimum of a P license, no license needed for people over 21
  • You must be able to drive adequately
  • Not suitable if you are pregnant or have heart problems

  • Participants who are pregnant or have heart problems should not participate

Fun in the Supra

It was a great day. I learned a lot, but I need more practice, so I''ll have to do it again. :) The instruction was very good, and the set-up and running of the day were excellent. It was just what I was hoping for. I kind of got it more and more as the day wore on.
