What you can expect
Join us as we explore the isolated and eerie Toowong Cemetery at night. Set on 44 hectares of land, Toowong Cemetery is the largest in Queensland, with over 120,000 graves sprawled over its hills. As you walk through the cemetery past gravestones, tombs and crypts, your guide will share stories of former gravediggers, murderers, black widows, dead governors, and more, all packed with ghoulish details to get your heart racing. You’ll be taken to parts of the cemetery that you wouldn’t explore alone and learn all about the famous burial site. Please note: This tour is completely separate from our Toowong Cemetery Ghost Tour - The Other Side. The tours visit different areas of the cemetery, and as such contain different stories.

What To Bring
- All guests must wear flat enclosed shoes. Other shoes (e.g. thongs, sandals or high heels) will not be permitted
- A torch is required for the tour. Each guest must bring 1 torch per person (Phone apps are suitable)
- Wet weather gear (tours operate in all weather conditions)
Terms And Conditions
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Service animals allowed
- All children under and including the age of 15 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult
- Ghost Tours are not suitable for children under 10 years, and will not be permitted on any tour
- A moderate amount of walking up steep hills is involved
- This tour will still go ahead in the event of rain or inclement weather. If the experience provider does have to cancel the tour due to severe weather, you will be rescheduled by the experience provider directly
- By undertaking one of our tours, all clients agree to abide by the following:
- CLIENTS MUST BE WEARING FLAT-SOLED ENCLOSED SHOES - No thongs/sandals/high-heels. Any person who does not have the correct footwear will not be permitted on the tour. No Refund. No Transfer.
- CLIENTS MUST HAVE A TORCH EACH - Guests are required to bring their own torch. One per person is required. Torch apps on smart phones are suitable.
- ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED PRIOR TO OR DURING A TOUR - Clients suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will be denied admission. No Refund. No Transfer.
- SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED DURING A TOUR - Smoking is not permitted at any time during our tours. If anyone forgets this, and starts smoking, they will be asked to immediately cease. If they do not, they may be asked to leave the tour. No Refund. No Transfer.
- MOBILE / TABLET DEVICE USE - Mobile / tablet devices are not to be used during any of our tours, with the only exception being for an emergency, or to take photographs. If you use a mobile phone / tablet device for any other purpose during any of our tours, you will be asked to stop. Refusal to do so may result in you being asked to leave the tour. No Refund. No Transfer.
- THERE ARE NO TOILET FACILITIES AVAILABLE AT THIS SITE - There are no toilet facilities available at site. Please use facilities elsewhere before joining us at this site.
- TOURS WILL STILL RUN IN THE RAIN - The weather really adds to the atmosphere of a tour. If the weather looks bad, bring some wet weather gear, and enjoy the tour. Tours will only be cancelled if conditions become dangerous.
- PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS & GHOST HUNTING IS NOT PERMITTED - Paranormal investigation / ghost hunting is strictly not permitted on tours. This includes but is not limited to: apps on mobile devices, Ouija boards, pendulums, video and still photography, psychic, medium and clairvoyant channelling of spirits.

Age and beauty
This is our third tour with Jack Sims having done Bloody Brisbane and South Brisbane Cemetery. The cemetery itself is all you want in a cemetery. Old graves, towering monuments and a grassed area for the unclaimed remains of the dead where people kick a football. The ambiance it somewhat spoilt by traffic noise and the majority of stops are on the roadway so no wandering amongst the tombstones. Didn't have the same level of spookiness as South Brisbane Cemetery but the view of the CBD was panoramic. Tru did a fine job for her first solo guide and will become a quality ghost tour guide.
