Whether you’re an absolute beginner or looking to up your SUP skills, this stand up paddle board lesson and tour on Brunswick River is an experience worth your time. From the SUP School in Byron Bay a short shuttle ride (about 15 minutes) will take you to the quaint village of Brunswick Heads, where you’ll be heading out onto the water. You’ll be taken through a warm up and all the crucial parts of SUP boarding, from balancing, to standing up, turning, stroke technique, basic safety and posture. Then your stand up paddle board adventure really begins as your instructor takes your group on an exploration through the amazing estuary environment. If you need help along the way, your instructor is there to give you any tips and assistance you need! As you paddle through Cape Byron Marine Park you’ll pass by charming coastal villages, lush natural landscapes, as well as native wildlife and marine life. Gliding along Byron Bay’s picturesque Brunswick River is an unforgettable, exhilarating experience. Plus, if there’s time, your group can stop in at the iconic Brunswick Heads Hotel for a beverage or two before heading back to Byron Bay.
