* Ancient Rainforest * Cascading Waterfalls * 4 Natural Swimming holes Intensity level: 2 Explore the incredible UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites of Daintree and Cape Tribulation on this full day adventure tour. Some highlights include being immersed in ancient wilderness on a rainforest walk, experience a ‘Welcome to Country’ ceremony with the land's traditional owners, stop to admire, and swim in the crystal clear waters of Mossman Gorge, and spot crocodiles on the banks as you cruise along the Daintree River. Kick off your adventure in the morning with a stunning coastal drive past sweeping views of the Coral Sea from Cairns to Port Douglas – one of Australia’s most scenic drives. Your first stop is Mossman Gorge, the iconic natural landmark where pristine and powerful waters flow over granite boulders amid the lush greenery of the rainforest. Participate in a Welcome to Country with the land's traditional owners, the Kuku Yalanji people, which intends to cleanse the bad spirits with a smoke ceremony before entering the Daintree Rainforest. We allow time for a swim in this special place before enjoying a delicious lunch in Daintree Village. Following lunch, you’ll jump on board for a wildlife cruise on the iconic Daintree River. Look out for the mighty Estuarine “Salty” Crocodile, often found basking on the riverbanks along the winding river. We will stop at the Daintree Ice Cream Company, for the chance to try Tropical fruit ice-cream right under the tree it was grown. On our return journey to Cairns, we will stop at a beautiful scenic lookout for the perfect photo opportunity to finish off your adventure. *Important: Due to Cyclone Jasper, access to the road leading to Cape Tribulation has been restricted. Our tour includes all activities, excepting the final 10 kilometres of the journey into Cape Tribulation village.
