Spend a full day immersed in the natural beauty of Fitzroy Island with convenient return ferry transfers from Cairns. Your adventure begins in the morning ensuring you make the most of your island experience. Aboard a comfortable vessel, you'll embark on a scenic journey to Fitzroy Island arriving in just under 45 minutes. Once on the island, you'll have around six hours to explore. Wander through lush rainforest trails, discover accessible sections of the iconic Great Barrier Reef and engage in a variety of optional extra activities. Snorkel alongside vibrant clownfish and graceful sea turtles or jump on a glass-bottom boat tour to see the reef without getting wet. For the more adventurous, kayaking and island explorations and a visit to the Turtle Rehabilitation Centre offers a unique opportunity to learn about the conservation efforts of these magnificent creatures.
