Experience the best that Queensland's World Heritage-listed rainforest and reef has to offer on this full day adventure spanning water, sand and sky. Departing from Cairns, your day begins with an exciting helicopter flight over the azure waters of the iconic Great Barrier Reef and across the coast to follow the Daintree River. For 45 minutes, enjoy the thrill of sweeping across the Coral Sea to the heart of the reef, all while soaking up views of the water and the tropical rainforest lining the coast. Next you'll explore the rainforest on a Daintree River cruise. Look out for the crocodiles that call this area home as your river guide shares insight about the wildlife and ecosystem around you. After your cruise, jump on board the tour vehicle and head to the iconic Alexandra Range Lookout for an amazing view and photo opportunity. Then you'll follow a naturalist guide through the rainforest on an elevated boardwalk tour, and enjoy a tropical BBQ lunch in the rainforest. After lunch, you'll go for a walk along Cape Tribulation Beach, then press on to the pristine Emmagen Creek where you can take a dip in the rainforest swimming hole. There will be tropical fruits and traditional Billy Tea and damper to taste, plus a stop at the Daintree ice-creamery before a cable-ferry crossing of the Daintree River. Then follow the Great Tropical Drive back to base and enjoy one of the most picturesque coastal drives in Australia to finish off an epic day of adventure.
