What you can expect
Get your adventure fix with this horse riding and quad biking combination day. You'll set out for two hours of horse riding and 1.5 hours of quad biking in the exciting Glenworth Valley wilderness just north of Sydney. This action-packed day kicks off with your horse riding session. Explore 3,000 acres of unspoilt wilderness on horseback just 20 minutes north of Hornsby and soak up the excitement of riding through the sprawling natural landscape. This operation has over 200 quality horses, which allows them to cater for the exact needs of all riders. The friendly staff will select a horse to suit your riding ability, from gentle horses for beginners to more challenging horses for the experienced rider. You have the option of free range riding or guided riding and on either option you'll discover rock pools, rainforests and lush green valleys while enjoying the thrill of horse riding. Then it's time to try a different kind of horsepower and jump onto a quad bike. After a safety, training and instruction session on the bike, rev your engine as you cruise along picturesque bush trails and make your way through the water crossing (subject to weather conditions) en route to the purpose built quad biking circuit.

Seasons
- In most cases, rain does not present a problem for Horse Riding or Quad Biking. If in doubt, please call Glenworth Valley's office as early as possible on the morning of your tour to check.
Time
- Please arrive 30 minutes before your confirmed tour time
- Please refer to the confirmation sent by Glenworth Valley for your tour time/s
- Experience is not available on weekends and during NSW school holidays, public holidays and long weekends
- Please book at least 2 days in advance of your preferred date. Advance bookings are essential
Departure Location
- This experience takes place in Glenworth Valley, Central Coast.
What To Bring
- Full length pants - jodhpurs, moleskins and jeans are ideal
- Footwear should be fully closed with a flat sole and a small solid heel - flat soled runners can be worn, however are not recommended
- Helmet included but you can bring your own horse-riding helmet
- Sunscreen, insect repellent, caps, shirts and disposable rain coats
- A café is open serving food and beverages most weekends and vending machines operate all week serving drinks and snacks
- A change of clothes and shoes to change into after the activity is recommended - alternatively they have optional coveralls you can hire for quad biking
- Wet weather gear if the weather is a bit uncertain and something warm to wear during the winter months
- Credit card details
- Gloves are recommended during the winter months
Terms And Conditions
- Minimum age is 12 years
- Participants aged 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult and have parental consent)
- There is no minimum fitness level required
- No horse riding or quad biking experience required - all training is provided
- No license required for quad biking
- The maximum weight is 100kg (fully clothed on the day)
- Guided Horse Riding is suitable for riders of all abilities and a professional and friendly guide accompanies you on your ride
- Free Range Horse Riding is available for experienced riders who feel confident with their horse and who wish to explore the valley at their own pace. All riders are given instruction on control and management of the horse before leaving the yards. In order to go free range riding we like you to have ridden at least 50 times however the final decision regarding rider experience and ability for free range riding will be made by the Horse Riding Centre Manager
- Please note: Riding on a Quad Bike can be dangerous. Quad Bikes are susceptible to falling and/or rolling over and you can get hurt driving them, especially if you drive too fast
- Photos can be taken at the end and emailed to you after your tour - but please mention that you would like photos taken when you arrive
- Enjoy one activity in the morning and one in the afternoon
- Maximum group size for quad biking is 14 and minimum numbers apply
- Large bookings (over 6 pax) will require the payment of a $500.00 security bond (or deposit) or have a pre authorisation processed against your credit card the day prior to your activity date
- Each quad biking booking requires valid credit card details on file of the booking organiser/riders. This is for security purposes for hire of the bikes in the event of any damage etc. (Similar to when you hire a car or hotel room). Once you have confirmed your booking the operator will contact you to receive these details
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Horse Riding/Quad Biking 10/10 experience :)
Had a blast!! 100% recommend. I surprised my partner for his birthday and we both had an amazing experience. If you can, try to book on a weekday because its not busy, and we had more time to spend quad biking and on the horse trails due to smaller groups. Had great guides on the bikes Sal and Sean were so friendly and fun and made sure we were safe and having a good time.

Awesome experience! Would do it again! We missed out on the quad biking as we were late but the horse riding was impeccable. DON’T BE LATE!
