What To Bring

Additional Information

This is an adventure, so be prepared for SEA-SPRAY!
During the winter months please be aware this is an open aired vessel, Warm Water proof jackets are highly recommended
Although good health and a positive attitude are essential, you do not need any prior experience to partake in a K'gari Salty Safari adventure
A signed release will be required from all participants on departure
Arrive wearing your swimmers (there is no change room available)
We have a flexible itinerary - the tour may be different each day depending on sea conditions
If unfavourable weather for access into Platypus Bay to watch whale’s, the Western Wonders tour will operate instead
Our tours are suitable for ages three and above, but it is essential passengers can climb up and down a ladder for beach/water access
This is a fast ride, there will be bumps and quick turns so please consider your physical and medical conditions before booking

Epic tour!!!

Going on a Whale watch tour with K’gari Salty Safaris and going on-board their vessel Wipeout exceeded our expectations! Tahnee and her husband are very welcoming and make sure everyone enjoys the tour. It is suitable for children as well. They loved speeding along the coast of Fraser Island and they had such an amazing encounter with the whales. Being so close to the water makes it so exiting for them as you can practically touch their noses. We were very lucky having 4 whales come up to the boat and putting up a show. Best tour ever and well worth the money! Enjoyed a lovely lunch as well on Pelikan Banks. The children liked the paddle boards and everyone was able to stretch their legs before going back to the harbour.
