What you can expect
Get your day started early and gear up for a spectacular sunrise hot air balloon flight. Your experience begins about 90 minutes before sunrise when you’ll be driven from the meeting point to the hot air balloon launch site. The exact location of the launch site is subject to change as the spot with the best conditions is chosen on the day to give you the best experience. As you prepare for take-off, you can get involved in the inflation of the balloon if you’re up for some hands-on action! Then it’s time to gently take off and start soaring over the lush landscape below. Watch the sunrise over the horizon and soak up unbeatable aerial views of Geelong, the mountains to the west and the iconic landscape down the Great Ocean Road. For your one hour scenic hot air balloon flight you’ll enjoy engaging commentary, unforgettable views, and the unique exhilaration of flying in a hot air balloon.

- Return transfers from the meeting point to the launch site
- 60 minute hot air balloon flight over Geelong and/or surrounding areas

Duration
- Approximately 3 hours
Departure Location
- Departs at 5 am from a pre-arranged location close to the ring road. You will be contacted the day before your flight to arrange a meeting point. Alternatively, you can arrange hotel pick-up from the Geelong CBD
What To Bring
- Practical outdoor clothes
- Appropriate footwear - the fields could be wet
- Bring a change of shoes and socks if necessary
- Bring a cap or a hat to protect your head from the heat of the burners
- Don't wear your best clothes, you might get a little dirty on packing the balloon away
Terms And Conditions
- Children under the age of six are not permitted
- Children aged six to 12 years must be accompanied by an adult
- Passengers need to be able to climb in and out of the basket with little assistance
- Participant weight range goes up to 130 kg. exceeding this limit will require contacting the operator for further advice
- You will not be allowed to participate if you have been scuba diving in the previous 24 hours
- Pregnant women up to the 25th week gestation are permitted
- At present, the company is not equipped to carry disabled persons
- The supplier will confirm the time of the flight the night before
- This is not a private experience - there will be others in the hot air balloon with you
- A minimum of 6 passengers is required for the flight to go ahead
- The provider recommends that passengers arrange their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances including being unable to fly due to illness
- Flight times may vary due to weather and the time of year the flight is taken. Please await confirmation from the experience provider prior to your flight as to what the actual flight time will be
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

The experience was great and memorable but would have been just that little bit better had we been able to fly over Geelong - Understand that we were at the mercy of the weather so little else could be done.

Pieceful but beautiful flight
A great experience, very pieceful but beautiful flight. I enjoyed helping with the balloon at the start & end of the flight. We had great weather and the flight was perfect.
