Your Gold Coast drive begins with a briefing so you can check out the immaculate Porsche 997 Twin Turbo S that you’ll be taking for a ride. It’s one of only five in Australia, with special order red leather and alcantara interior, and can launch from 0-100km/h in less than three seconds. You’ll meet your expert supercar instructor, who will walk and talk you through the features and functions of the car.

Before you take off for your one hour drive, your instructor will sit in for lap of the block to take you through the F1-style paddle shift gear changes and the main controls, so that you’re perfectly comfortable taking control of the vehicle yourself. Then it’s time for you to enjoy the ride of a lifetime on the public roads of the Gold Coast. You can sit back and enjoy the power of the Porsche while you are supported by one-on-one in-car guidance from a fully qualified instructor.

After your drive you’ll have the opportunity to snap a photo with the Porsche as a memento of the experience. It will be hard to get back into a normal car after you’ve felt the power of the Porsche, but it’s absolutely worth it.

Experience

The schedule was double booked so we had to wait an hour. A lot of 60-80km/h zones with only minimal areas to open the legs of this brute. We went at lunchtime so much better suited to an early morning venture prior to traffic.

A MUST DO! Great for the Car Aficionado

The day before my planned drive, They relunctantly called to let me know the Porsche was broken down. Thankfully he had the Lamborghini spare. I’m happy now that this happened as the Lamborghini is very suited to the drive. The lady that came out on the drive was very knowledgeable in not only the vehicle I was driving, but the locations we went past, which made for a great experience. Next time I’m booking a babysitter and taking the wife on the drive
