What you can expect
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren't quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. Dive shops offer this program either in a pool, off a beach or from a dive boat. You can try scuba close to home or while you’re on vacation at a dive destination. While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. To sign up for a Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 12 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. By the end of the Discover Scuba Diving course you'll learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a diving professional. If you make an open water dive, you'll practice a few more skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure.

Terms And Conditions
- Students who turn up for dive activities in an unfit state i.e. lack of sleep, medically unfit, or have imbibed alcohol/drugs, within 24 hours of dive, may be denied permission to dive. This decision rests with the Instructor in charge. An additional fee may be charged for a deferred dive.
- Please note participants must not fly within 24 hours of diving.
- Should a dive be postponed for any reason, your Instructor will call you the evening before. You will be supplied with a mobile phone number for your Instructor to call on the day if you have any problems.
- Minimum age 12
- Diving is an exciting and demanding activity. When performed correctly, applying correct techniques, it is relatively safe. When established safety procedures are not followed, there are increased risks. If you are enrolling in an entry-level recreational diving certificate you must, prior to commencing the training, complete and submit a self-assessed medical declaration form
- Some medical conditions will prevent you from diving, while others require you to seek medical advice before diving
- We will ask you to fill out a medical questionnaire to identify any pre-existing conditions that may affect your safety while diving
- Participants must be able to swim and have a satisfactory level of health
- You cannot fly within the 24 hour period following your last dive
- You must be able to swim
- If you are suffering from a cold, hay fever, hangover, cough, breathlessness or ear infection on the day of dive, you will not be allowed to participate in the dive
- Chronic sinus or middle ear problems may exclude you as water depth and pressure can cause severe discomfort if you are unable to equalise pressure
- Scuba Diving is physically demanding and can be dangerous if you suffer from certain medical conditions. It is very important that you, the diver, do not suffer from any contraindications to diving
- Please carefully read the below list of medical conditions that may prohibit you from taking part in diving for your own safety:
- Asthma- Heart Disease- Epilepsy- Diabetes- Chest Conditions including Pneumothorax- Sinus Conditions- Ear problems/surgery- High blood pressure- Pregnancy (pregnant women are not permitted to dive).
- If you suffer from or have suffered from any of the above medical conditions OR If you suffer from any other medical conditions, including recent injuries, surgeries or psychological conditions then you will be required to obtain a fully completed medical clearance from your doctor prior to booking in for the dive (cost varies and is payable by you).

Happy with Gold Coast Dive Centre NO to Adrenaline
I was extremely satisfied with the Scuba Diving Experience delivered by Gold Coast Dive Centre (ALONSO ZURRO, LUIS MANUEL sole trader). Diego, my instructor was amazing. However, I was DISSAPOINTED with Adrenaline, as the third party they only messed up everything. When I booked my experience I selected to be picked up from Meriton and I received from Adrenaline an email confirmation for that, but they did not pick me up. I had to take a taxi to the Gold Coast Dive Centre. I do not recommend to use Adrenaline. It cost me $40 to take a taxi and I was late.

First scuba ever, the staff were kind, friendly, helpful, caring and professional. The experience was very appropriate considering myself and other May not have done it before. The environment offered a safe and easy to adjust area yet there was lots to experience. My guide was attentative and stuck by my side while allowing me to explore where I wanted to go safely. I felt safe and had a thrilling dive, now I'm ready to take it to the next level and do the certification! I would definitely dive with Louis and Matt again! Thanks guys!
