Torquay Beginner Surfing Lesson, 2 Hours

Out on the water, the exhilaration of riding the waves is unbeatable. If you want to learn to surf, there are few better locations than Torquay - sometimes known as Australia’s surf capital. So get on a board and get out there with a 2 hour surf lesson that will have you on the road to surfing like a pro. The surf school will provide everything you need, from a soft beginner surfboard to a full length wetsuit or rash shirt. All you need to do is show up ready to get in the water. Torquay is renowned for its pristine beaches and ideal surfing conditions, so it’s a great spot to learn.  For 120 min, your highly qualified and experienced instructor will give you all the guidance and insight you need to be standing on your surfboard in no time. You’ll begin on the sand with a safety briefing and some basic instruction, before hopping into the shallow water to try catching some waves.  Then return to the beach for more detailed instruction about how to stand up on your board before getting back into the water to give it a go. The instructor will help everyone individually give their best go at standing up on a wave. You’re in good hands, and there’s no time like the present to start making your surf dreams a reality!
