What you can expect
The iconic Cradle Mountain – Lake St Clair National Park is a gem in the crown of Tasmania. Listed on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List for its exceptional beauty in the Tasmanian Wilderness Area, this full day tour to Cradle Mountain is an absolute must for keen hikers. Join local guides for the most comfortable and efficient journey to Cradle Mountain from Hobart on a full day adventure. The day begins early with a pick up from Hobart CBD at 6am to ensure that you have as much time as possible out on the nature trails. Hikers will have up to five hours inside the National Park with plenty of time to complete one of the challenging hikes including Marions Lookout or the walk to the Dove Lake Circuit. There will stops for lunch and dinner but you’ll need to pack a picnic lunch for yourself to dive into while you’re surrounded by breathtaking scenery in the Cradle Mountains. It’s a 15 hour day jammed packed full of carefully curated activities but is quite simply the most ideal way to experience Cradle Mountain in a day from Hobart.

A must do in Tassie!
This tour is the perfect choice for those looking to see all the best spots in and around Cradle Mountain. It's even better when you don't have a car because Sam picks and drops you off right at your hotel's doorstep! Expect an early morning start and a late finish (Sam ensures you get to experience as much as possible in this day trip)! As the tour group is quite small, you're able to connect with other tourists on the trip and have a sit down lunch and dinner together (both self paid for). There is adequate time to do the hikes at Cradle Mountain (I did the Marion lookout and it was spectacular)! Great for solo travellers and can't recommend enough! Thank you Sam for an amazing experience!!
