What you can expect
Experience Hobarts iconic waterfront from a different perspective. Enjoy a guided tour through Hobart, one of the most picturesque harbours in the world, nestled between river and mountain. Lasting two hours, you'll glide past the working waterfront, prestigious homes and wooden tall ships, and keep an eye out for the local wildlife of seals and dolphins.
Departing from Sandy Bay, explore Hobart’s coastline, paddling past historic Battery Point, now one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods in Hobart, and gliding under fishing wharfs before entering the bustling Hobart docks. You’ll get up close to sleek yachts, elegant tall ships, working fishing boats, modern cruisers and possibly even a cruise ship. After working up an appetite, enjoy Hobart’s legendary fish and chips direct from a dockside fish punt from the comfort of your kayak while your guide entertains you with some local stories.

- Tours depart from Marieville Esplanade, Sandy Bay (opposite 16 Marieville Esplanade on the beach near the rowing sheds)
Duration
- Please allow at least 2.5 hours for the experience, which includes approximately two hours of kayaking
- You will be required to sign a waiver

- No kayaking experience is necessary however all participants need to be able to paddle

- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
