A fun day out

A really fun day. Got to see some amazing coastline and wildlife including seals, dolphins and birds. The boat operators were skilful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The Port Arthur tour and site were very interesting. The only thing that could be improved is the organisation. The description on the website made us think we were going on a cruise (this is more of a powerboat adventure ride!), there were no instructions on where to meet, or any idea of the logistics for the day. Nearly half the day is spent on a bus; you only get 3 hours on the boat. There was also only one toilet at the cafe (morning tea) and the adventure office, for hundreds of people on various tours. Overall a good day. Bring warm clothing!

MY GREAT ADVENTURE.

I would highly recommend this trip. I am a 70 year old grandmother and I felt it was a great day out. The boat driver was highly skilled and handled the boat very well. He and the other crew member helped me on to the boat as my foot was a bit sore. Our driver took us past spectacular waterfalls and giant archways. He steered up to the giant cliff faces as close as was safe for all of the passengers so we were able to get a close view to video or take photo's. I was able to view seals on the rocks and dolphins swam along side the boat . We were able to view the beautiful and very rugged coast line of Tasmania between Eaglehawk Neck and Port Arthur. The boat ride lasted about 3 hours. We then landed at Port Authur where we were given a good lunch before we took a guided tour or walked around Port Arthur. It was a very long day but a great day.

Tasman Eco Cruise

Fantastic adventure around some of the most rugged but picturesque coastline I have seen anywhere. Great crew. Interesting commentary. Good seaworthy boat. Sensational!
