The magic of a hot air balloon flight is something you need to experience for yourself, and the lush rolling hills of Hunter Valley is the perfect place to do it. From the moment you take off you’ll feel the combined excitement and tranquility of flying that is completely unique to a hot air balloon ride. Just two hours north of Sydney or 45 minutes from Newcastle, Hunter Valley is the perfect destination for a spectacular sunrise hot air balloon ride. You’ll hop into the basket and take off for an hour long sunrise balloon flight, where the panoramic views make for amazing photos and even better memories. Once your experienced pilot brings you to a gentle landing, you’ll be treated to a gourmet a la carte breakfast at a local winery. Toast to your hot air balloon adventure with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and enjoy riding the exhilarating high from your flight.

Not the luxury adventure you may think
It was well set up. There were people there to greet you and show you where to park. The balloon ride was great. Once we landed, they expected us to help them pack up. I didn't help as I thought it was inappropriate. It took some time for the balloon to be put away. Everyone else got on their buses and were taken back to the restaurant. We had to ride back to our bus on the side of the trailer. It was a disappointing way to end the day. It was an expensive adventure so being made to do manual labour is not part of the deal. They should employ more people to help them and not rely on the guests.

Fake availability dates
I paid for a trip for two people and at the last minute they told me that for the date I had booked there is no longer availability, I have lost money from my hotel reservations and other tours. They only gave me the solution to book during the week.
