What you can expect
Explore an incredible underground crystal wonderland in this one-hour guided tour of Jewel Cave, an ancient marvel located near Augusta in Western Australia. You'll be guided into the state's largest show cave by your expert guide, and wander through the three massive chambers and dazzling crystal formations at your own pace. This is a natural wonder you need to see in person to fully appreciate how stunning it really is. Explore the cave's chambers and pass by formations like delicate helictites, cave coral, pendulites, a very large stalagmite and beautiful flowstone. Along the way, you'll also learn about how the now-extinct Tasmanian Tigers used to fall into the cave and have now been preserved for more than 3000 years. Check out the Tasmanian Tiger skeleton on show at the Jewel Cave Centre, and stroll through the forest above the cave to see the original entrance to the cave.

- A moderate level of fitness is required as you must be able to walk up and down stairs
- The cave environment can be quite humid - asthmatics are advised to take extra care and be sure to bring along any medication
- The tour requires a minimum of two adult participants to go ahead, with a maximum of 10 participants per group
