What you can expect
Get out on the water and see Melbourne city from a unique perspective on this relaxing kayaking tour. Over the 1.5 hours, you'll paddle past famous city icons and see both old and new areas of Melbourne waterways whilst listening to vibrant music and historical commentary from your friendly guide. Striking out from Richmond Rowing Club in a stable double kayak, you'll get up and close to yachts and ferries as you take in views of South Bank, Westgate Bridge and the city skyline. You'll view the former Customs House, turning basin, historical ships, former waterfall, "Mission for Seamen", old warehouses and Bolte Bridge whilst listening to historical commentary. As you're paddling right through the vibrant centre of the city, you'll often hear funky music being played on the water's edge.

Seasons
- The trip is weather dependant, particularly the strength of the wind and the effect on wave and swell size. Trips will be cancelled if the forecast is for 35 knots or above. Staff will contact participants 2 days before hand to confirm go ahead. Cancelled trips will be rescheduled.
Operating Hours
- Participants need to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the starting time. You will be on the water for approximately 2 hours, but please allow approximately 3 hours all up for your experience.
Hotel Pickup
- Adventure departs at the water end of Pearl River Road (Melways Ref. 2E D4) Directions:
- By CarTravel along Docklands Drive (extention of Dudley Street.) turn right into Waterfront and park at the $5.00 all day undercover car park.
- By TramCatch Tram No 48 or 86 and meet at the end of Pearl River Road.
- By Bus / WalkThere is also a Free bus Shuttle (drops off at Pearl River Road opposite the Docklands Retail shopping hub) and walk towards the water to the meeting point.

- Old running shoes/sandals/thongs/wetsuit booties
- Spray jacket/thermal top (or can be provided if required)
- Towel
- Change of clothes for afterwards
- NOTE: Wetsuits are not suitable for this adventure
Additional Information
- Please allow 2.5 hours for this experience - 2 hours paddling (30 minutes to set up and pack up)
- Customers need to sign an indemnity form and medical form before they commence the trip. All staff have a sea kayaking guide or instructors qualification, level 2 first aid or wilderness first aid and at least 5 years experience. Terms And Conditions
- Participants must be reasonably active and over 14 years of age
- Participants must be able to swim 50m non stop
- Very tall (over 192 cm) and heavy people (over 110 kg) need to notify operator in order to provide a suitable kayak
- Children 12-15 must travel in a double kayak with an accompanying adult
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
