The Grampians National Park is famous for its world-class hiking trails, so get out there, get your blood pumping and experience it for yourself. This small group tour from Melbourne takes you for an action-packed day of exploring the waterfalls, mountain panorama lookouts and walking trails that make the Grampians so special. Leaving Melbourne bright and early you’ll be taken to the heritage-listed national park in a group of no more than eight people. Your first hike is a moderate 4.2km return walk that journeys through amazing natural rock formations like the Grand Canyon and Silent Street. The highlight is The Pinnacle - a jagged cliff face and breath-taking lookout point that’s one of the most famous sights in the park. The view from this spot is seriously spectacular.  You’ll stop in the local village of Halls Gap to treat yourself to a delicious lunch at the Harvest Cafe before driving up to Mackenzie Falls. This walk is a small but steep 2km trail, but it’s absolutely worth it to see one of Victoria’s largest and most famous waterfalls up close. You can even dip your feet into the icy cold mountain water if you’re keen to be refreshed! Next stop is the stunning Boroka Lookout, where you can take in panoramic views of Halls Gap, Lake Bellfield and Mount William mountain ranges. Then finish off the day with some kangaroo spotting back at Halls Gap before journeying back to Melbourne. There’s a good reason the Grampians is such a beloved destination, and you can experience the best of what it has to offer in one epic day.
