Scuba diving is easy and this introductory course will introduce you to the underwater world and some of nature's most diverse creatures. Beautiful soft coral and unique marine life including highly sought after Weedy Sea Dragons are sure to amaze the most inquisitive adventurer. All the time you are under the direct supervision of a highly experienced professional dive team. First you will learn the basic theory behind scuba diving in the comfort of a classroom environment. Next you move to the pool, learning the basics in shallow water to allow you a comfortable transition to the underwater world. Then finally it's time to meet the marine life and see the Weedy Sea Dragon Colony, or Octopus and Seahorse garden. This is an adventure you will never forget!

Amazing experience
Really enjoyed this experience. Ally our instructor was kind, fun and patient and we saw two sea dragons and a cuttlefish!

We swam in a school of fish
Due to water conditions we didn't dive at Portsea to see the sea dragons, but saw wonderful, colourful marine life at Blairgowrie instead. Our instructor Rasmus was extremely patient and encouraging which made it a fabulous experience.

No pool, no sea dragons...
We purchased this experience as it stated that you will enter a swimming pool to learn the basics of scuba diving before moving into ocean, this was not the case. The whole reason we chose this experience was to learn before diving. We also didn't dive off Portsea pier which is where the Sea Dragons are located so we didn't see them either. Overall the diving instructor was great, it was a good experience but what was advertised was not delivered.
