Amazing cruise
WOW! What an incredible experience we had. The crew were very friendly, they somehow remembered everyone''s names. They were also incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and the marine life, including the birds. I learned so much on the trip and thoroughly enjoyed it. Seeing the dolphins so close was a highlight, especially when we saw a calf that they said was only a about a week old! Our children swam with the dolphins and seals, and we watched from on the boat, however we were never made to feel less important because we weren''t swimming. From regular offers of hot drinks, to the warm, freshly baked scones served after the swimming finished, everyone was well looked after. Whilst the swimmers were shown a good time, and had lots of time in the water to appreciate the sea life, the crew''s first priority was to the marine life, pulling swimmers in if they got too close, or if the animals showed any sign of distress. I really appreciated this aspect, and everyone still got up close. We will definitely be back, thank you so much to all the crew on Polperro - Troy, Jess, Matilda and Angus <3

What you can expect
Witnessing dolphins and seals playing in their natural environment is so often a life-enhancing experience. And you don’t have to travel far! You can make friends with these intelligent mammals just a short distance from Melbourne, at the picturesque seaside village of Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula.
Your adventure begins with a safety briefing on board the boat, followed by the journey out to the on the beautiful southern waters of Port Phillip Bay. See wild bottlenose dolphins, explore the southern reaches of Port Phillip and enjoy the playful fur seals. Highly trained and experienced crew introduce you to the rich diversity with an emphasis on safety and environmental awareness. Open water vistas unfold as Victoria’s richly woven early white history and the fortifications protecting the early settlement are explained. This truly is the marine adventure of a lifetime.

Additional Information
- Dolphins are wild animals and interactions cannot be guaranteed on every occasion. We use a multi-award winning eco tourism business that embraces sustainability principles.
- The season is from October to April inclusively, trips depart at 7:30am and 11:30am. The boat trip will last approximately three hours!
Terms And Conditions
- Participants should be physically and medically fit and able to participate and enjoy a boat trip
- Passengers need to be able to board the vessel by stepping from the pier to the deck. Crew are there to assist. Please feel free to discuss any concerns with our office at the time of booking
- Children are welcome to participate. To fully enjoy the experience children must supervised at all times
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
