Go behind the scenes of the rum distilling experience and taste some delicious drops at the JimmyRum Distillery on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. It’s the perfect way to indulge in a drink with friends or a partner while appreciating the process and the makers. On your JimmyRum tour you’ll go through a fully guided tour through the working distillery, giving you an access-all-areas look at what goes into craft distillation. Kick off the morning with a complimentary double espresso, tea or coffee, before James - the founder of JimmyRum - recounts his journey of opening the first rum distillery in Victoria. Enjoy rum tastings of four JimmyRum products while your tour guide talks you through the distinctive flavours the distillery showcases. You’ll also be treated to additional rum tastings from around the world, so come thirsty! There will be cheese and meat platters to snack on throughout your distillery experience, and you’ll be given a 50ml mini bottle of rum to take home with you. Plus, you’ll have a 10% discount at the JimmyRum cellar door across their classic range on the day. This tour treats you to a taste of Victorian history and delicious rum all at the same time.

Never short of an idea or two, he had this crazy thought after a sailing career of 20 years to start making rum & so the JimmyRum journey began. Everything you see, touch and taste at JimmyRum is all of his vision, passion & hard work for the brand brought to life. You can catch him most weekends behind the tasting bar chatting to visitors about rum, his passion for distilling or sharing a sailing story.

Fantastic day with JimmyRum!

I'm not a rum or spirit drinker generally, but still really enjoyed the day with a friendly bunch of people and an excellent host. A lot of fun and I have a new appreciation of rum. The light meal afterwards was also excellent.
