What you can expect
There’s nothing quite like the pure thrill of flying in a helicopter, and there’s definitely nothing quite like the spectacular views from the top. If you want to experience some excitement and see the incredible beauty of Newcastle’s coastline, this is the perfect opportunity to do both. Your helicopter ride takes off over Newcastle city, passing over Honeysuckle Drive and soaring out into Newcastle Harbour. You’ll be able to see the entirety of Newcastle during your 25-30 minute helicopter flight, so buckle up and prepare to be overwhelmed with exciting heights and breathtaking views. You’ll swoop over all of Newcastle’s eight beaches, Redhead Bluff, and Glenrock National Park, continuing down the coastline all the way to Australia’s largest saltwater lagoon, Lake Macquarie.
