Reach thrilling heights and soak in unbeatable views of the Avon Valley in this sunrise hot air balloon flight. For about one hour you'll enjoy the excitement of flying on the wind high above the countryside, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Avon Valley National Park landscapes below. After touching back down you'll be treated to a delicious breakfast to top off your adventure. Your ballooning adventure begins before sunrise when you'll be driven from the meeting point in Northam to the hot air balloon launch site. If you want to get involved in the action you can help out with the inflation of the balloon and some other tasks, or just stand back and get excited for take off. Once inside the basket, you'll be taken through a safety briefing before gently floating off the ground and soaring high above the incredible Western Australian landscape. Watch the sun rise over Avon Valley's stunning rural landscapes, rolling hills and winding streams. After the flight, help with the balloon deflation before returning to Northam for a well-deserved breakfast. This is an unforgettable that's absolutely worth getting up early for.

Fields can be very wet, even muddy in winter so make sure you are able to keep your feet dry. Some passengers wear plastic bags over their shoes.

Casual comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather conditions
Ballooning is a “hands on” activity and we can get a little dirty on packing balloon away. Don’t bring your best Sunday clothes!
Shoes must be flat and enclosed - no high heels or open toed shoes permitted
Hat and sunglasses are recommended

Spectators are welcome to come and watch take off as long as they can travel independently to launch and landing sites

Flight times may vary due to weather and the time of year the flight is taken. Please await confirmation from the experience provider prior to your flight as to what the actual flight time will be
Meeting times in Northam are between 4:00am - 5:30am depending on the season booked. Your transfer meeting time will be 1.5 hours before these listed times.
Flights operate from mid-April until late October

Pregnant women over 25 weeks gestation are not allowed to fly
Participant weight range goes up to 130 kg.
Participants must be able to get into the basket
Unfortunately, people who use a wheelchair cannot currently be catered for
