Set out for an epic 8km hike along Rottnest Island's Wadjemup Bidi network Explore the sights of the West End and the spectacular Northern Beaches Return ferry transfers from Fremantle are included

Head out to Rottnest Island for an incredible hike around the Wadjemup Bidi network of trails. Leaving from Fremantle on the ferry, you'll embark on an 8km hike across amazing coastal headlands, inland lakes, beaches, and plenty more as you cover the West End and the Northern Beaches of the island. Once your ferry arrives on Rottnest Island you'll be transferred to the West End to start on the Ngank Wen Bidi loop trail. Enjoy beach walking along Strickland Bay, pass by popular surf spot Radar Reef, soak up the views from Cape Vlamingh, look out for the seals at Cathedral Rocks, and stop to admire Mabel Cove and Marjorie Bay.

After lunch you'll head on to explore the northern beaches on the Karlinyah Bidi trail, beginning at Rocky Bay towards Narrow Neck and onto the beautiful Ricey Beach. Make your way through some rugged, rocky terrain before merging onto the City of York Bay. Learn all about the shipwreck then continue on to take in sweeping views of Catherine Bay and your final section past Little Armstong Bay back to Thompson Bay.

Operating Hours

This is a full day experience commencing at 7.30am
Make your way to the meeting point on the lawns in front of the Visitor Centre on Rottnest Island. Aim to be ready to get started 15 minutes prior to hike start time
The experience provider will book your ferry tickets for you and send them your way with all the details on departure times. at the B - Shed Ferry Terminal in Fremantle.
