If you’re looking for an adventure, a kayaking session in one of Perth’s spectacular waterways is the perfect opportunity to get out on the water, get active, and reconnect with nature. Hire a double kayak and explore at your own pace on either Swan River, Canning River, or Shoalwater Bay.The great thing about kayaking is that it’s easy to pick up and instantly enjoyable - so it’s the perfect activity for the whole family because the kids will love it. You can rent a double kayak (or more than one) and embark on a journey with your mates, partner or family.

Kayak hire also means that you get to choose your own adventure. You can paddle slowly or challenge yourself with speed. You can design a route or just decide as you go. How you use your kayaking session is up to you! You’ll be heading out on one of Perth’s picturesque waterways, where you can keep an eye out for the abundance of marine life and wildlife that inhabit these areas. The double kayaks are for hire on Swan River, Canning River, or Shoalwater Bay, for sessions that fit in with the provider's structured tour destinations and times. Other than timing, the rest is completely up to you, so embrace the freedom and enjoy a kayaking adventure of your own design. Additional Information

Your paddling session must fit in with the provider's tour destinations and times. Please note: these sessions are only available when a tour is running that day. Canning River and Swan River sessions are only available on the weekend
Kayak hire at Canning River and Swan River is three hours in duration: 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm
Kayak hire at Shoalwater Bay is five hours in duration: 9am-3pm

Terms And Conditions

No paddling experience is necessary and this is a family-friendly activity
Note: Shoalwater Bay option is recommended for more experienced paddlers (wind and waves are likely). For beginners we recommend booking onto the guided tours or the Canning river which is very calm.

Upsetting

Incredibly disappointing experience. I booked to go with my young daughter. We drove over an hour to get to the meeting place to find that the address provided was wrong. When we finally got to the right place the operator was unhappy because he had brought a kayak and life jackets for adults only. I told him there is nowhere in the booking to enter the ages of participants to which he replied there most certainly is. Even today, there still is not. He said I should’ve booked direct, but still today bookings are accepted through Adrenaline. The pictures on Adrenaline show younger children so I expected this information wasn’t critical. We changed the kayak to a smaller one, but he was so disorganised he didn’t even have spare children’s life jackets. He put her in an adult’s life jacket, did it up tight and said it would be fine. We went to the water and I made a silly mistake when jumping on the kayak and we tipped over. It wasn’t a big deal but the operator came along and said he was cancelling the hire. I think he was concerned about his liability if something went wrong and he had put a child in an adults life jacket. Still, his manner was quite rude, never accepting any responsibility for the wrong address, unspecifiable ages or incorrect life jackets. The person running the experience was disorganised and rude. A refund was given for the experience but nothing to compensate for the day or petrol that was wasted.

Nice experience!!!

Good experience, the staff was very friendly. A little lost at the meeting point as the address 142 Tourist Drive 202, it was not exactly correct (it pointed to the opposite site of the road). The trailer to return the kayak was located very far from the original meeting point, which made it very difficult to return the kayak because my wife is small and the kayak is too heavy.
