What you can expect
Horse riding is one of the most rewarding and exhilarating activities there is to do, and a private lesson is the perfect way to get started. This private horse riding lesson for kids is just 45 minutes South of Perth on a picturesque rural property in Jarrahdale, where you can go for a ride through the paddocks and learn all the basics. Before you start you’ll be matched with a well-trained horse or pony that’s suitable to your size and ability. You’ll learn the crucial ins and outs to grooming and caring for your horse before it’s time to go for a ride. During your one hour private lesson you’ll go for a slow-paced guided horse ride through the paddocks with a friendly and experienced instructor by your side. Pass by the dam, creek, resident cows and sheep and lush bushland as you ride through the serene Jarrahdale property. It’s an exciting adventure and a great introduction to horse riding.

- This experience is located at 162 Jarrahdale Rd, Jarrahdale WA 6124. Drive 1.62 km on the RHS after the turn off from SW Hwy to Jarrahdale Rd. You can't miss the stable, and there is a big round yard, wooden fences and a rock driveway. Take the LHS driveway straight to the stables.
What To Bring
- Participants must wear jeans or leggings and boots or a closed-in shoe with a heel and a smooth sole. Hair should be tied back and secure.
