Sailing around Rottnest Island under the twilight sky is quite literally the dream. Picture it: the water is crystal blue, the evening is balmy, the sky is a constantly evolving colour spectrum as the sun sinks lower and lower behind the horizon, and you’re sipping a glass of bubbly. The dream. But if you’re waiting to buy yourself a boat, or waiting to find a friend who owns a boat (another dream), you could be waiting far too long. So why not do the sensible thing? Ditch the wait and set sail on board a luxury catamaran for an evening of indulgence. Capella is a 12.5m luxury Schionning Cosmos catamaran waiting for you to come on board. For your 90-minute sail, you’ll have 360-degree views of the Indian Ocean surrounding Rottnest Island from both the comfortable indoor lounge and the outdoor seating. The salty ocean breeze and a sunset are the stuff that dreams are made of. To top it all off, you can enjoy a glass of bubbles (BYO drinks too if you like) and nibble on a shared antipasto platter as you set sail into the sunset. And if it’s a warm night and you’re willing, you can stop for a dip in the serene waters just off the boat. Rottnest Island is iconic for being one of the most beautiful places to see in Australia, and between the picturesque Bathurst Lighthouse, the ocean horizon, and (if you’re lucky) the dolphins riding on the boat’s bows, your twilight sail will be a journeyThis experience is part of our Low-Footprint Adventures range because it’s ECO certified by Ecotourism Australia.

Beautiful sunset again off Rottnest Island
3rd time i have been on this boat. Just enjoyed every trip i have done - snorkelling and the sunset trips are really good and an excellent way to pass a few hours in the beautiful indian ocean. Nice they give you a few snacks, and they put your own drinks in a big esky at the front of the boat.
