Unleash your potential as an independent kiteboarder with our comprehensive lesson package on the Sunshine Coast. Expert instructors will guide you through every aspect, from setting up equipment to understanding kite harness safety systems and control bar operation. Delve into the intricacies of wind dynamics and how it influences your kite's movements. Master vital skills including power strokes, water relaunching, body dragging (both upwind and downwind), self-rescue techniques, board starts, riding techniques, switch riding, and riding upwind. This structured program is specially designed to provide you with the best foundation for experiencing the thrill of kiteboarding and reaching a level where you can confidently navigate the waters independently. Inclusions
- 2 x 3 hour lessons
- Equipment including a helmet, harness, kite / bar and board
- IKO (International Kiteboarding Organisation) Certification
Time
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time as per your booking confirmation.
- This experience is 6 hours (2 x 3 hour lessons)
- Lessons usually take place between 10am-6pm, 7 days a week

What To Bring
- Swimmers, or wetsuit/rash vest if you have one
- Hat and sunglasses

Terms And Conditions
- No prior experience is needed
- Kite surfing is not recommended for pregnant women
- If you have a medical condition that may affect your ability to learn to kite surf, please let us know so that we may be able to accommodate you
- This experience is weather dependant. A lack of wind or too much wind may mean your experience is postponed. Rain and Thunderstorms may also interrupt normal operating hours. Bookings will be confirmed generally the day before the scheduled booking.
- Suitable for open water swimmers
- Not suitable for pregnant women
- Not suitable for participants with serious pre-existing medical issues
- Minimum participant age is 10 and maximum weight is 120kg.
- There is 1 instructor per student
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
