Abseiling in the Glasshouse Mountains is a great adventure. You will experience a whole day out and a variety of different cliffs that are all close to the walking trail. These weathered volcanic plugs are steeped in Aboriginal legend. You may even get to hear a tale or two from the Dreamtime! You start the day with a safety briefing then hike up to the 25 metre cliffs. After plenty of abseils off the 25-metre cliffs, you'll move to the final abseil of 45 metres. By progressively moving to more challenging abseils throughout the day, you will have plenty of opportunities to work on improving and refining your abseiling technique. The Glasshouse Mountains are a spectacular abseiling location, surrounded by craggy volcanic peaks, which tower above pine plantations, eucalypt forests and open fields with awesome panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Outstanding
This was an amazing experience. I tried the abseiling and rock climbing on the same weekend. Both guides were fantastic and showed great professionalism.
