A Memorable Marine Adventure at SEA LIFE Sunshine
I recently visited SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the vibrant displays and the wide variety of marine life on show. The aquarium is well-organized, making it easy to explore at your own pace, and there?s something for everyone to enjoy. The highlight for me was the underwater tunnel ? walking through and seeing sharks, rays, and other sea creatures swimming overhead was truly mesmerizing. The jellyfish exhibit was also stunning, with beautiful lighting that really showcased their grace. The amazing part was seal show, totally mesmerised , also offering a chance to get up close with starfish and other creatures. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions, which made the visit even more enjoyable. It?s clear that SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast is dedicated to marine conservation and education, and I appreciated learning about their rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
Great family day out!
So many different things to see! We loved the underwater tunnel so much we went through a few times. The seal show, including the seal photo opportunity, was a highlight.
Nothing beats the exhilaration of seeing all the most incredible marine life up close. SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast, located in central Mooloolaba in the heart of Queensland's famous Sunshine Coast region, is the area's top attraction for the family. It's also easily accessible from Brisbane, and open during the school holidays, so itโs the perfect activity for the kids to get excited about.
Situated at Mooloolaba Wharf, just moments from the main Esplanade, the multi-award winning SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast is home to thousands of animals, including sharks, seals, turtles, stingrays, otters, sawfish, tropical fish and much, much more. You can explore 11 fun and interactive animal zones spread out across three levels.
Take part in an unforgettable Seal Island seal encounter with the seal show that includes a seal presentation and even offers a seal swim. Visit the only colony of Little Blue Penguins on the Sunshine Coast. Explore the depths of the ocean and marvel at the many species of sharks, rays, reef fish and more floating above you as you walk the 80-metre long Ocean Tunnel. Check out one of Australia's largest collection of jellyfish in the Jellyfish Kingdom. There's even a seahorse sanctuary and a Tidal Touch Pool for you to get to know the tropical fish first hand.
As one of the Sunshine Coast's leading family and tourist attractions, SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast offers entertainment for young and old alike. Come within inches of huge sharks, rays and turtles and see some of the remarkable marine and freshwater animals that Australia is famous for. If youโre looking for something fun and exciting to do, SEA LIFE is the perfect choice.
