Get out on the water and learn how to surf at the beautiful Mabroubra Beach, recognised as a National Surfing Reserve. Over the two hour lesson, a qualified surf instructor will teach you the basics of the sport so that your confidence in the water will shoot up in record time. Offering great waves on one of Sydney’s last unspoilt city beaches, Maroubra Beach is the perfect place to begin your surfing journey. Your lesson begins with a warm-up to prepare your body for the session. Your instructor will cover the basics of riding a surfboard and how to catch a wave, surf awareness and ocean conditions (rips, currents, tides). The focus is to introduce you to the pure thrill and addiction of surfing a great wave but also to educate you on the dangers of swimming and surfing in the ocean. This experience is part of our Low-Footprint Adventures range because it is ECO certified by Ecotourism Australia.

Although I am yet to do my surfing due to cancellation I think it's great they put peoples safety first. It was very quick and easy to reschedule and I look forward to doing my lesson.

The guys did'nt mess around with long speeches about the rights and wrongs... They gave us the safety talk, hit us with the basics and let us have a good crack.... Sweet!
