What you can expect
Just because you’re not a professional race car driver doesn’t mean that you can’t experience the adrenaline-pumping intensity of race cars. Jump into an F1-style, Formula Ford racing car and take on the extreme speed out on Sydney's Eastern Creek racetrack. First off, you’ll complete two orientation laps around the track in a road car with a real race car driver behind the wheel to prepare you for driving a real race car. Then it’s time to get behind the wheel of a single seater F1-style Formula Ford race car and experience the thrill of a race car first hand. You’ll be strapped in by a six-point racing harness in an open cockpit with a quick release steering wheel in front of you, and a gear stick connected to a 4-speed close ratio, purpose-built racing gearbox. For five laps of Eastern Creek race track you can tear up the tarmac and enjoy the power at your fingertips. You’ll experience heart-pounding thrills as the F1-style Formula Ford race car slides and drifts around the circuit at extreme speeds. You will be driving on the Corporate Hill section of Sydney Motorsport Park’s Amaroo (South) Circuit. This machine has over 2.5Gs of lateral grip, so the cornering forces are insane. It’s an experience that will have you riding an adrenaline high long after. Cars driven on the day are State Championship Level racing quality, and are used in races across Australia, so this is the real deal.

Inclusions

Time
- Sessions run from 7:30am - 4:30pm, with 2 dates scheduled per month (dependent on availability)
Duration
- Please allow approximately 2-3 hours for the experience
Location
- This experience takes place at Sydney Motorsport Park, Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek, NSW. Travelling east or west on the M4, take the Reservoir Road exit
- Follow the Sydney Motorsport Park signs on the Great Western Highway and turn left into Brabham Drive
- Once you reach the roundabout at the end of Brabham Drive (near the Alpha Hotel) turn right and follow Ferrers rd around to the gate A entry (formerly gate 7)
What To Bring
- Bring your driving licence (no licence, no driving)
- Closed-toe shoes are essential
- Hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
- Clothes suitable for the weather on the day
- For safety reasons, drivers are not permitted to take recording devices on their drive but video footage is available to purchase on the day

- Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the session start time
- Booking time will be confirmed by the experience provider

Terms And Conditions
- Not suitable for pregnant women or those who suffer from certain medical conditions
- Participants must have "P" standard manual driving licence and be able to operate a manual gearbox
- Participants will be required to sign an indemnity accepting liability for any damage to the car
- Minimum age is 16 years. Participants under the age of 18 years will require a parent/guardian to sign such forms on their behalf
- Maximum weight is 120kg
- The minimum height on this experience is 155 cm, and the maximum is 188 cm
- Subject to availability
- This experience is an outdoor event and will go ahead in wet/damp conditions. If the supplier deems the track unsafe, due to extreme weather conditions, we will reschedule your experience to a convenient later date. We do not offer refunds. In damp or wet conditions, you must still arrive for your allocated session/event unless advised otherwise by the supplier.
- When you are driving you are responsible for any damage done to the race vehicle. This event is an all weather event, and in the event that your session cannot run due to weather conditions, we will reschedule your experience to another suitable date and time. Cancellations are subject to the adventure provider.
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 14 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- No refunds will be offered on any booked experiences

Don't expect to be on time...
I was excited to be in a real racing car, however, the time spent sitting around waiting for everybody else to complete their laps was not satisfactory. It seemd like there were two many in the group and while my adventure was to be at 11:30 am I didn't get onto the track until after 2:30 pm.

Great fun but make sure you read terms & condition
Great fun but beware the terms and conditions. Had a blast but didn’t find out till I got there that I was responsible for full cost of damages to the vehicle and no insurance was available. I am not saying it is unreasonable but not very clear in terms and conditions and put a bit of fear in me. That aside. The experience was great. The team out there are fantastic. Certainly pulled my fastest laps on lap 4 and 5. Was given a few extra laps for following their overtaking rules when I was held up by a slower car. Be patient and listen to the briefing. You will have a blast.

Awesome day, must do for anyone.
Very professionally run, easy to understand instructions, help make the most of your day. I paid for an extra 5 laps on the day on a friends recommendation, and loved every second of it. I also added a ride in the 2 seater, which I highly recommend. Their professional driver can really move that car around. Had a great time, I'll be back soon.
