The Adventure that reaches Great Heights
After three attempts to take our seaplane adventure all cancelled due to extreme weather, we finally enjoyed what was an absolutely amazing experience with Sydney Seaplanes. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make our experience one we will always cherish. The flight and views were incredible and made all the more interesting by our very informative pilot. The seafood lunch was delicious, and went far beyond our expectation and the staff were friendly and attentive. We would like to thank everyone at Sydney Seaplane and the Empire Lounge for what was a great day, and we will be recommending this Adrenaline Adventure to all our family and friends.
Seaplane with lunch
Wonderful views over Sydney - our flight was meant to be in the morning, however rain set in & our flight was initially cancelled. The staff knew we were hanging around for lunch so, they graciously negotiated the flight & decided to wait the rain out so they could accommodate us. We ended up flying 3 hours later than planned. We were so pleased passengers will need to reschedule in rainy conditions. The pilot was very helpful & the flight so smooth - totally enjoyed this adventure.
What you can expect
Taking off in a seaplane from Rose Bay, you'll be in awe of the stunning beauty of Sydney Harbour unfolding beneath you. The classic Beaver seaplane, immaculately restored, adds a touch of nostalgia amidst the high-tech cruisers zigzagging the bay.
As you exit the harbour, rolling swells crash against the sandstone cliffs, and you venture north at 500 feet, reaching the world-famous Northern Beaches. Your pilot will ensure everyone on board gets a great view, making the experience even more memorable. On your descent back to Rose Bay, your pilot will point out the luxurious homes of the rich and famous. Gliding gracefully over the water, the Beaver touches down, leaving a trail of white foam.
After the thrilling flight, indulge in a luxurious lunch at Empire Lounge, Rose Bay. With floor-to-ceiling glass doors and an outside decking area, you'll enjoy a fresh seafood platter and a glass of Tasmanian sparkling wine, feeling like you're on vacation in Sydney's newest prestige waterfront venue. Flight duration is 30 minutes, departing at 10:45am. A lobster upgrade is available at market price, payable on the day.

Seaplane and seafood
A perfect experience in our beautiful Sydney harbour and beaches. The friendly staff ensured we felt valued and cared for during the flight and the seafood feast was amazing. It was the perfect finish to our day
