What you can expect
Get the full V8 performance racing experience with this ultimate combination of passenger laps and driving laps on the North Circuit at Sydney Motorsport Park. You'll get behind the wheel and put your own driving skills to the test for six laps around the circuit, and strap into the passenger seat for two blistering laps with a real race car driver showing you the full high-speed potential of the car. Your V8 drive day kicks off with a safety briefing and pre-drive tuition session with experienced race drivers. They’ll go over techniques on cornering, apexes and exiting, efficient braking and acceleration, steering, gear changes and general car control, as well as safety and track awareness. You’ll have time to ask any questions and make sure you feel comfortable taking the wheel and taking on the track in a V8 race car. Then it's time to experience the extreme power of a real V8 race car, and take on the 2.8km circuit with your instructor guiding you from the passenger seat. You'll soon realise how easy it is to take control of a V8 car. While you're still buzzing from your six lap drive, move over to the front passenger seat and let an experienced race driver show you how the professionals do it for two lighting-fast laps. And the excitement is not limited to inside the vehicle, spectators will absolutely love the high-speed action from the grandstand!

FAQs
- What are the height and weight restrictions? - Participants must be a minimum height of 135cm and must not exceed a height of 194cm. A maximum weight restriction of 130kg is applicable to all participants.
- Is there an age limit? No, however participants must be within the above requirements.
- Are there any health risks involved? Guests who are pregnant are not permitted to participate. You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs when participating. Experiences involve some muscle jarring and high G-forces, the operator recommends seeking medical advice prior to participation if you have any health concerns.
- What race suit sizes are available? Race suits are available in sizing from small to 4XL.
- What clothing is required? Participants must wear enclosed shoes such as runners or sneakers. Open-toed shoes, heels and thongs are not permitted. It is best to wear weather appropriate and comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement.
- Can I bring any spectators? Friends and family are welcome to come along as spectators at no additional fee. There is plenty of good viewing and photo opportunities at the venue.

Just do it…!
My 6 lap drive + 2 hot laps was an amazing experience but for some reason unfortunately I only got 5 out of my 6 laps :( The driver briefing was helpful but if presented by a driver in person would have been better I think. Others in my group made a similar comment.

Mixed feelings
I bought vouchers for my son and husband for Christmas presents, while my son had an amazing time my husband did not have the same experience. First the car he was driving stalled and wouldn't start so a switch had to be replaced, then as my husband was leaving the pits was told that the motor was still getting run in as it was new and couldn't be driven at full capacity therefore lessening his experience.
