Start your journey into the world of freediving with experienced instructors on this 2 day ‘Learn to Freedive’ course taking place in Airlie Beach and The Whitsunday Islands. Whether you're completely new to freediving or wanting to improve your skills, this 2 day freediving course will provide adventurers with all the knowledge required to explore the ocean in one breath. At the completion of the course, each person will receive a PADI Freediver or SSI Freediving Level 1 certification so you can head out on additional free diving adventures. On Day 1, begin with a classroom session to learn the theory of freediving with breathwork and mediation workshops. Then, it’s time to put what you’ve learnt into practice with a pool session as you try out a static breath hold, duck dives, turns and pool rescue drills. On Day 2, leave the classroom behind on a half day expedition in the open waters of The Whitsundays. Today, you will aim to dive to a minimum depth of 10m and explore the natural wildlife on multiple free immersion dives to cement your freediving skills. This learn to freedive course is well structured with equal parts education and adventure. Expect to push your boundaries, discover what your body is capable of and walk away a confident freediver. Why not try something new this weekend and head out freediving? The adventure is always worth it with Adrenaline!
