What you can expect
Join us on a 2.5 hour horse trail ride through the Yarra Valley’s bush. You'll ride through the Australian Bush, riding under the trees and up to a Mountain Hut taking in the breathtaking views over the Yarra Valley and Australia’s Great Dividing Range. The ride includes a wine tasting of Tokar Estate Yarra Valley wines at a genuine Mountain Hut.There is always a chance to see wildlife, such as; eagles, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, lizards, echidnas, and deer. You're in safe hands: The operator of Chum Creek Horse Trail Rides is one of Australia’s most experienced Horse Trail Riding Guides, having personally taken out over 6,000 riders on Horse Trail Rides in the Australian Bush and Victorian High Country.

- The price quoted is for one. This isn't a private tour. However this experience provider specialises in small group sizes. The typical size group is no more than 10 customers in each group.

- Riders required to be 12 years old and over
- No experience necessary!
- Due to the welfare of our horses we have a very strict weight limit of 95 kgs

Amazing!! Can't wait to do it again
What a wonderful morning in Chum Creek. We arrived early and were greeted by our lovely host Renee, who made us feel instantly welcome. She chose us a 'perfect match' horse and off we went. The trail ride was beautiful, serene and peaceful. We arrived at the hut, where they prepared a fire and we had cheese and crackers and lovely local wine tasting, chatted with the other lovely couples and overlooked the wonderful views of the Yarra Ranges. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

Definitely worth ticking off my bucket list!
Had an excellent experience from the minute we arrived. The girls greeted us with much enthusiasm, matched us perfectly to the horses, and provided expert commentary about the trail before we headed off and throughout our adventure. The views are spectacular as well!
