If you’ve always fancied being a pilot, don’t just dream about it, make it happen. You can take control of a modern flying training aircraft and learn to fly at Caloundra Aerodrome. There are a range of options to choose from, all with expert flying instruction and the best views of the Sunshine Coast imaginable. You can even take home video footage of the flight and (if you really enjoy it) you can use the flight time you log towards a license.
If it’s a huge rush you want, the bucket list favourite of skydiving is hard to beat. If you’ve never experienced the rush of freefall before, a tandem skydive on the Sunshine Coast is well worth doing. You’ll be able to take in glorious views of those sandy beaches and walk away having done something truly amazing.
