Fitness and Experience

• If you have a medical condition that you feel may cause some concern (such as a heart condition) and you’re planning to fly, it is best to check with your doctor for an opinion on whether you should go
• Please advise the booking office if you are over 90kg or have any medical issues
• Anyone over 115kg may incur a 50% surcharge (payable direct to the supplier). Due to safety factors passengers over 130kg cannot participate in hot air ballooning
• Disabled passengers are able to balloon, although limitations do apply due to the Civil Aviation and Safety Authority (CASA) regulations. CASA requires that all passengers are able to embark and disembark a balloon basket unassisted for safety reasons. No wheelchair facilities are available
• Pregnant women are not permitted to take part in this experience

What to Bring/Wear

• Comfortable layers of outdoor clothing to match the season are recommended
• A hat and sturdy shoes for the morning dew
• No open foot wear or high heels are permitted.

What is Supplied

• Approximate 1-hour balloon flight over Ipswich, Scenic Rim and Somerset regions – a city to countryside flight
• Every flight is with Chief pilot Graeme who has 30+ years ballooning experience
• A boutique ballooning experience with no more than 10 passengers per flight
• Personalised in-flight commentary
• Passengers can assist with inflation & deflation of balloon (optional)
• Free parking at the central city meeting point
• Transportation during the flight experience
• In-flight photography will be taken on most flights, with the opportunity to purchase photos at breakfast
• A personalised commemorative flight certificate (usually presented at breakfast)

More Information

• Child: 6 to 12 years old. Children are welcome and must be accompanied by a paying adult. The child must be able to see over the edge of the basket (1.2m high) unaided by any person or objects for safety reasons. Infants are not permitted due to the Civil Aviation and Safety Authority (CASA) regulations and guidelines
• All passengers must complete and sign a standard company Registration, Medical Check and Assumption of Risk form before the flight

Cancellation Policy

• Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
• Changes are not permitted within 14 days of your experience
• Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
