The Mudgee region is a popular weekend getaway destination, located just 3.5 hours north-west of Sydney and 4 hours west of Newcastle. It has everything from gourmet food to quaint towns, UNESCO World Heritage wilderness and wineries galore, and this hot air ballooning package lets you see and experience it all. 

    Take off at first light and watch the sun rising over the horizon onto the valleys, mountains and lush rolling hills of Mudgee. You’ll have about 60 minutes soaring over the towns, vineyards and rich landscapes with spectacular panoramic views of it all. Once your experienced pilot floats you to a soft landing, you’ll be treated to a gourmet à la carte breakfast at a charming local winery.

    Fitness and Experience

    By noting your agreement and completing this booking, you are confirming that no member of your booking party has:

    • significant knee, hip, neck or back injury or issue or any other existing conditions that would prevent them from following the pilots instructions including climbing into the balloon using the footholds cut into the side of the basket, Assuming the landing positions with knees bent when instructed to do so, Absorbing a small bump when the balloon is landing or would prevent them from holding on to the safety handles when the balloon is landing.
    • Had surgeries or broken bones within the past 3 months, or are currently under doctors supervision regarding surgery or injury, regardless of when surgery or injury occurred
    • The inability to stand for one hour unassisted.
    • Minimum age is seven years
    • Passengers weight must not exceed 140kg per passenger
    • Not suitable for pregnant woman
