Take to the waters of Port Phillip Bay on a waterbike and explore the Mornington Peninsula in a unique and eco-friendly way. You'll begin your session with a safety briefing and operational overview before being fitted out with a lifejacket and hitting the water. Departing Mother's Beach in Mornington, you'll head out to Mornington Harbour, keeping an eye out for large look stingrays amongst the yachts moored there. Next, you'll pedal north towards Mills Beach, passing by Beleura Cliff Lookout and the Mornington Golf Club perched high above the cliff tops. You'll see Morning Star Beach and Reginald Ansett's attempted post-World War Two sophisticated modern hotel, Hotel Manyung, emerging from fields above.
On the return trip, you'll pedal in the pleasant open water and keep your eyes open for some of the Mornington Peninsula's Bottlenose Dolphins, known to frequent this stretch of water and be friends with our eco-friendly waterbikes. You'll end the tour approaching Schnapper Point, the original name given to the Mornington township, before finishing back at Mothers Beach alongside The Rocks Mornington, which is an ideal location to replenish after the trip.
